Mid Ohio Valley
Chrysalis
Chrysalis is the name chosen for the youth version
of The Walk to Emmaus. This name symbolizes the spiritual growth that is
essential between adolescence and adulthood. That growth is as crucial for
the youth as the cocoon is for the caterpillar.
A Chrysalis Flight is a spiritual retreat open
to students who have completed their freshman year in high school up to their
freshman year in college. Flights include skits, great music, lots of fun,
discussion groups and sharing, devotional meditations, and powerful interactive
worship.
Do you have questions about God, prayer, the
Bible? Are you open to dedicating your everyday life to God? Then Chrysalis
is for you! It is a once in a life time experience, a life changing experience!
If you would like more information on this retreat, please read the FAQs

What happens after
Chrysalis?
All Chrysalis graduates, or Butterflies, are
encouraged to participate in their local church, join a youth or small group,
and be part of a Chrysalis Share Group. Share groups are made up of a handful
of Chrysalis Butterflies who meet weekly to encourage each other in their
faith journey. Chrysalis also holds periodic "Hoots" for its Butterflies
to meet together, re-connect, and have some fun!
I've attended
a Flight/Walk and now would like to volunteer for Chrysalis!
Chrysalis Flights need volunteers for kitchen, logistics, agape, prayer
vigil, and live-in team. Contact our
Chrysalis Committee for our
current specific needs. And thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus
to our newest caterpillars! |
